The congress will have a double character: Scientific, where research papers are welcome, and Professional, for different agents of the tourist industry.
Within the framework of the International Scientific-Professional Congress on Cultural Tourism, we are pleased to present the theme "The Multiculturalism of Peoples: Crossing Oceans and Building Bridges". This event aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for reflection and dialogue on the critical role of cultural tourism in promoting diversity, mutual understanding, and global cooperation. In an increasingly interconnected world, cultural tourism becomes a key tool for building bridges between nations, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, customs, and traditions that enrich both local communities and visitors alike.
The congress will address a wide range of topics, including the impact of tourism on cultural heritage preservation, the promotion of ethnic and cultural diversity, and the encouragement of sustainable and responsible tourism development. Through the analysis of case studies, academic research, and practical experiences from professionals around the world, we will explore how cultural tourism contributes to the strengthening of cultural identities, social integration, and the creation of economic opportunities for communities.
This international gathering seeks to foster debate and collaboration among academics, industry professionals, policymakers, and other key stakeholders, with the aim of promoting tourism that not only crosses oceans but also builds lasting bridges between peoples, paving the way for a more inclusive, respectful, and prosperous world for all.
